Position: Service Billing Coordinator

Location: Fountain Valley, CA

Pay: $20 – $24/hour

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the fire alarm or security systems industry preferred.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


HB Staffing is seeking a Service Billing Coordinator to join a growing and dynamic team!


Job Description:

  1. Coordinate billing processes for service-related work and ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  2. Communicate project and service status effectively to customers and internal teams.
  3. Work with a variety of people across different skill levels to meet deadlines.
  4. Learn and utilize company software and electronic tools to manage assigned projects.
  5. Handle multiple priorities during high workloads while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  6. Assist with problem-solving related to service installations and billing issues.
  7. Maintain accurate records, correspondence, and reports.
  8. Ensure compliance with industry standards and registration requirements.


Position Requirements:

  1. Working knowledge of the Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
  2. Ability to perform basic math functions including percentages, fractions, and decimals.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Ability to interpret data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  5. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  6. Effective negotiation and analytical skills.
