Expeditor/Material Handler - $21.25/hour + Weekly Pay!

Position: Expeditor/Material Handler

Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $21.25/hour

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 7:00am to 3:30pm

HB Staffing is seeking an Expeditor/Material Handler to join a growing and dynamic team! 

Experience and Education Requirements:

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or material handling environment preferred.
2. Experience supporting production operations by delivering raw materials and moving finished goods.
3. Previous forklift and material handling equipment experience strongly preferred.
4. Experience with inventory management, stock rotation, and warehouse operations.
5. Experience using inventory tracking systems, barcode scanners, or production software is a plus.
6. Experience working in a fast-paced production environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
7. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
8. Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
9. Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain and maintain certification.
10. Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse operations is a plus.
11. Additional technical or industrial training preferred but not required.

Position Requirements:   

1. Ability to safely operate forklifts, lift equipment, and other material handling devices.
2. Strong understanding of inventory control and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices.
3. Ability to accurately transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
4. Basic computer skills with the ability to navigate production systems and print labels.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory transactions and system scans.
6. Ability to follow production schedules and anticipate material needs.
7. Working knowledge of warehouse safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements.
8. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
9. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
10. Ability to identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or safety concerns.
11. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
12. Ability to lift, move, and transport materials in a manufacturing environment.
13. Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workplace.
