Position: Election Driver

Location: San Bernardino, CA

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $21.21/hour 

Experience: Previous experience driving vehicles ranging from passenger cars to 26-foot box trucks with air brakes. 

Type: Full-time; Contract  

Schedule: Day Shift

  

HB Staffing is seeking an Election Driver to join a growing and dynamic team!   

 

Job Description: 

  1. Deliver election equipment, supplies, and materials to various locations throughout San Bernardino County.
  2. Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
  3. Complete delivery documentation and paperwork accurately.
  4. Communicate regularly with the ROV dispatch team regarding delivery status and routing updates.
  5. Assist with warehouse operations and inventory-related tasks as assigned.
  6. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  7. Fuel and maintain assigned vehicles.
  8. Proof election materials for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
  9. Follow established policies, procedures, and election security protocols.
  10. Support special projects and operational needs during the election cycle.

 

Position Requirements:   

  1. Ability to safely operate a hydraulic lift gate.
  2. Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  3. Geographic familiarity with San Bernardino County.
  4. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.
  5. Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  8. Professional verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
