Position: Bilingual Legal Typist

Location: Salinas, CA

Pay: $19 to $25/hour 

Experience: Office or customer service experience preferred; training provided

Type: Full-time; Contract  

Schedule:  Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm

HB Staffing is seeking a Bilingual Legal Typist to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description: 

1. Enter law enforcement referrals into a case management system accurately and efficiently
2. Process cases for court and prepare arraignment calendars
3. Provide information and assistance to the public in both English and Spanish
4. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
5. Meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented legal office
6. Follow verbal and written instructions and complete other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:    

1. Basic computer skills
2. Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
3. Professional verbal and written communication skills
4. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to stay calm in stressful situations
5. Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills
