Experience: At least 2 years of experience in residential building maintenance or related maintenance work.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Type: Full-time; Temp to Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
HB Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Complete maintenance work orders for residential housing properties.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical and plumbing systems.
- Repair and replace fixtures, drywall, and other basic building components.
- Conduct minor repairs and general maintenance for interior and exterior property areas.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and track materials used for repairs.
- Prepare housing units for move-ins by ensuring properties meet readiness standards.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager, Lead Maintenance Technician, and team members to support property maintenance plans.
Position Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to read and interpret written procedures, manuals, and instructions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to clearly follow instructions and report maintenance updates.
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and pass a drug screening.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
