Position: Sanitation Technician

Location: Austin, TX

Pay: $17.50/hour

Experience:

1. Commercial production experience
2. Warehouse or manufacturing environment experience
3. Sanitation, food production, or janitorial experience

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday 11 AM • 7:30pm

HB Staffing is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join a growing and dynamic team! 

Position Requirements:   

Hard Skills:

1. Cleaning and sanitizing industrial equipment and surfaces
2. Following food safety and sanitation standards
3. Maintaining hygienic production environments
4. Understanding and applying: OSHA safety guidelines, chemical handling procedures, and workplace safety practices
5. Disassembling and reassembling machinery for cleaning
6. Cleaning tools (buckets, measuring equipment, bins)
7. Maintaining cleaning equipment (mops, sinks, systems)
8. Maintaining sanitation logs and records
9. Following technical procedures and checklists
10. Lifting up to 50 lbs.
11. Standing for long periods
12. Repetitive motions (bending, reaching, pushing, pulling)
13. Working in cold/freezer conditions
14. Timing cleaning tasks around production schedules
15. Supporting continuous workflow without disruption

Soft Skills:
